Childhood and Early Years

Pruthvi was born and brought up in Gujrati joint family. She was an intelligent and diligent student from a young age and these traits were noticed by her family and teachers. Her father had a dream of becoming a CA but due to financial constraints, he had to leave his dream. 

It seemed natural for her family and relatives to suggest a career in Chartered Accountancy (CA), they believed she could conquer with ease. Pruthvi was very creative from childhood, she wanted to pursue a career in Arts. However, she chose commerce as her academic stream as arts subjects were not available in English in her hometown. Her early interest was somewhat sidelined due to these circumstances.

After completing her 12th grade, she pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce. During this time, one of her friends was very serious about pursuing a CA, His father was also a CA. He inspired Pruthvi to consider the path. Her teacher’s encouragement, coupled with a hint of friendly competition, pushed Pruthvi to take up the challenge. 

Although initially reluctant, she eventually took it upon herself as a matter of pride to prove that she could succeed in a field. Pruthvi’s journey to becoming a Chartered Accountant was mixed with ups and downs. Within a week of her 12th-grade exams, Pruthvi started coaching for the CA exam. With only two months of preparation, she managed to score impressive marks. However, it was during her finals that the true test of her resilience began. Pruthvi had aspired to secure a rank in the CA finals and was determined to put in the hard work required. 

But just as she began to immerse herself in her studies, the COVID-19 pandemic struck and forced her to return to her hometown. Back home, the challenges multiplied. With her uncle and aunt battling COVID, cousins preparing for intermediate exams, and her father managing the family business alone, Pruthvi found herself juggling multiple responsibilities. 

Despite the overwhelming circumstances and only one to two months of study time, she cleared the CA finals on her first attempt in 2021. It was a remarkable achievement, though she fell short of her goal to rank due to the immense pressures she faced.

Throughout this period, Pruthvi’s family played an instrumental role in her success. Her mother, in particular, was a pillar of strength, constantly reassuring her that she could overcome any obstacle. When Pruthvi felt like giving up, it was her mother’s unwavering belief in her abilities that kept her going.

The Unexpected Rise as a Content Creator

With her CA journey behind her, Pruthvi turned her attention to the next phase. When she was looking for a job on LinkedIn, she discovered LinkedIn as more than just a networking site but a platform where she could share her experiences and thoughts. 

She began as casual posts expressing her views soon evolved into a purposeful endeavour. She soon recognized its potential as a genuine content platform, Pruthvi started focusing on creating content that could help others get a job, particularly students pursuing CA, helping young people in their careers and many more.

Her posts quickly gained traction, and before long, she was receiving messages from students seeking advice and mentorship. The positive feedback from her growing audience gave her the courage to continue. Her journey as a content creator was not premeditated but rather a natural progression of her desire to share knowledge and help others.

Pruthvi’s success on LinkedIn is rooted in her belief that content creation should be driven by choice and passion, not pressure. She emphasises the importance of consistency in posting content but warns against sacrificing one’s career for the sake of content creation alone.
