6- Oil Palm Plantation Business: Ruchi is the largest player in the country in terms of allocated area, operating under a PPP structure with an asset-light business model. The total area under cultivation is approximately 68,000 hectares with 37 nurseries across India, 18 of which are in the Northeast. 

The company imported 40 lakh seed sprouts in YTD FY24. There is rapid expansion with plantations less than three years old making up 28% of the total, compared to 19% in March 2023.
