Struggles and Setbacks
The journey wasn't easy. The brothers faced skepticism from fitness professionals who dismissed the Mudgar as outdated. Manufacturing challenges loomed large—each Mudgar required high-quality mahogany wood, careful seasoning, and meticulous craftsmanship, making mass production a daunting task. Additionally, marketing a traditional product in a market dominated by Western fitness trends was an uphill battle.
Financial constraints made things even tougher. The duo had to bootstrap their way forward with limited resources, investing every rupee they earned back into the business. Self-doubt sometimes crept in, but their belief in their vision kept them going.
